Dave “The Devilfish” Ulliott Film Offers Glimpse into UK Poker Craze
The UK has officially caught poker fever. The Brits are longtime sportsbetting enthusiasts, so it's only logical that the Texas hold'em craze that shook the US would take hold on the other side of the Atlantic as well. Director John Hales is offering a glimpse into the British poker phenomenon, with a short film that features Dave “The Devilfish" Ulliott. The film, entitled “Poker Face," is shooting this week in London's Sportsman Casino.
Ulliot, arguably the most famous UK poker player currently on the pro circuit, will play a pivotal role in the film. Regarding Ulliot's involvement in the project, Hales commented, “We’re really excited, we’ve got the best poker player in the country, the best production team and the coolest script - and we’re not bluffing."
