An elderly pensioner from the Scottish town of Prestwick was charged with committing sex offenses, in connection with an incident in which he engaged a 10-year-old boy in a game of strip poker. Despite the severity of the charge, James Truesdale will face no jail time, but rather, will have to pay a fine of £400. In addition, the strip poker game has landed Truesdale on the Sex Offenders Register for the next five years.

The strip poker game in question actually occurred nearly 15 years ago. The underage victim, however, only came forward regarding the incident last year. After the victim, now 23 years of age, told his family of the incident, they immediately turned to the authorities. During the investigation, Truesdale admitted to playing strip poker with the minor, but said something along the lines of, 'it was all in good fun'.
