Vince Neil Poker Tournament Shows That Charity is SO Rock n' Roll

"The Joint," an entertainment venue in Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, will be the site of the forthcoming “Off the Strip" Charity Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament. The event, featuring as much party as it does poker, is albeit being held for a good cause. On November 11, Motley Crue's Vince Neil and a slew of dancers will grace the spotlight, setting the scene for the evening's promising poker action.

Only 150 people will be able to play in the actual poker tournament, but guest passes are available for those who still want to party Vegas-style for charity. Tournament players will have to shell out $540, which includes both entry fee and tournament buy-in. The event's total prize pool of approximately $50,000.00 will be divided among the tournament's top ten players.

Besides offering grade-A entertainment, the “Off the Strip" event benefits a worthy non-profit organization, the T. J. Martell Foundation. The foundation, with support from members of the music industry, focuses on aiding leukemia, cancer and AIDS research.

“I’m very excited about the tournament," commented Neil. “We have kicked this idea around for a while and it just makes sense, since I live in Las Vegas and The Joint is one of my favorite venues. Texas Hold ‘Em is a kick ass game and when you add the girls to the mix it only gets better. I hope my fans will come out and make this a very special night because it is a very special cause to me."
