Online poker room Pacific Poker recently announced that it now offers poker action for Linux users, via its Macintosh compatible site www.Mac-PacificPoker.com. Until recently, poker players using Mac or Linux operating systems were at a loss for options online. Truly dedicated players may have gone out and bought pricey Virtual PC software in order to achieve windows compatibility. Such efforts are becoming increasingly unnecessary.

An increasing number of online poker rooms are coming to recognize that there is a virtually untapped market of poker players using these alternative operating systems. In addition to Pacific Poker, PokerRoom.com, and a handful of others also offer Mac and Linux compatible options.
