FullTiltPoker and Fox Sports Team up for New Poker Strategy TV Show Featuring Poker Pros
Online poker site FullTiltPoker.Net has joined forces with Fox Sports to create and broadcast a new poker television program, which will begin airing September 27, 2005. “FullTiltPoker.Net Presents: Learn From The Pros" will feature the members of “Team Full Tilt," the site's collection of resident poker pros, one of whom, Howard Lederer, will also serve as the show's co-host, along with Chris Rose of FSN's “Best Damn Sports Show Period" fame. Participating poker players will share poker tips and strategy help for viewers in 26 half-hour episodes. After the initial Tuesday premier, new episodes will air every Sunday at 4:30 PM, with a repeat airing on Tuesdays at 8:30 PM. Players making appearances on the new show include Chris “Jesus" Ferguson, Erik Seidel, Phil Ivey, John Juanda, Erick Lindgren, Jennifer Harman, Clonie Gowen. Additional pro poker greats are also anticipated, including Year Daniel Negreanu, Annie Duke and Gus Hansen. "There is such a thirst out there for all things poker. We want to help players of all abilities take their game to the next level," commented Executive Producer Mark Mayer. “The opportunity to pick the brain of Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson and some of the world's best players is one that every poker enthusiast will want to take advantage of. If you watch this show, you will become a better poker player."
