Despite recently becoming $7.5 million richer, thanks to his WSOP championship win, Joseph Hachem seems to be opting for the simple life, at least for now. On his way home to Australia from the U.S., poker's newest star stuck with his entourage in coach, instead of the comfort and luxury of first class. Hachem was quoted as saying that he preferred passing the flight with friends and family, rather than living it up in first class. When Hachem arrived at Melbourne airport, friends were there, waiting to welcome him.

Regarding his newly made millions, Hachem is not yet certain whether his winnings will be subject to taxation. This matter is reportedly under discussion between the Australian Taxation Commission and Hachem's accountant.
