Poker Software Developer Poker Academy Releases Upgrade of Flagship Poker Product
Poker software developer Poker Academy announced the approaching release of its Poker Academy Pro Texas Hold’em 2.0. The official debut of the software, which makes use of cutting edge artificial intelligence technology, will make its official debut at the World Series of Poker Consumer Lifestyle Show in Las Vegas taking place from July 6 to July 9. Poker Academy makes use of AI technology developed over the past decade at the University of Alberta. The technology allows the program to adapt itself to individual players' strategies and playing styles, and computerized opponents respond accordingly. The new version also features extended statistical tracking and analysis for each hand. The program suggests possible options for smarter play in various situations, and also warns players before making a potentially bad play. As far as tournament options are concerned, Poker Academy Pro Texas Hold’em 2.0 simulates tournament play in the style of popular tournaments, such as the WSOP and the WPT. Online play and chat options are also included in the new software version.
