This weekend marked poker pro Daniel Negreanu's first appearance as a weekly columnist for the Seattle Times. Each and every Saturday, Negreanu will share tips with readers on how to improve their skills at the poker table. Negreanu was quoted as saying that his tips will be applicable for players wanting to play face to face, as well as for fans of online poker.

Although just 30 years old, Negreanu has earned more during his career than any other poker player today. With close to $6 million in tournament winnings under his belt, it's no surprise that he has been named player of the year by the World Poker Tour, Card Player Magazine and ESPN.
