Emerging as the World's Best College Poker Player, University of Minnesota Junior Chad Flood took first place at the 2nd Annual College Poker Championship. The College Poker Championship is an online poker tournament series for college students around the world. This year's tournament drew 25,000 students from 55 countries all over the world.

Aside from nabbing the title of World's Best College Poker Player, Flood also won the $41,000 academic scholarship designated for the winner. In addition to the scholarship, $1,000 will be donated in Flood's name to the American Diabetes Association, the charity of his choice.

Flood has been with the College Poker Championship from the beginning, placing in the top 100 players at last year's competition. And will we see more of Chad Flood? "I will definitely play in the College Poker Championship again next year," he said, expressing intent to hold on to his championship title.
