Online Poker playing college students wanting to compete in this year's College Poker Championship need to move fast. Registration for the online poker championship is coming to a close, with tomorrow being the last day to sign up. The College Poker Championship has been holding weekly online tournaments for 36 weeks, qualifying contenders for the semifinals. The last weekly tournament is scheduled for Sunday, May 8th.

Over 75,000 students, representing approximately 2,300 institutions of higher education have so far tried their hand in the 2nd Annual College Poker Championship. The final championship, slated for May 22nd, boasts a total prize pool of $135,000. The winner of the 2nd Annual College Poker Championship will win a $41,000 scholarship.
