Poker Tournament Computer Game Released by Funkitron
Computer software publisher Funkitron announced the release of its new poker game, "Poker Superstars Invitational Tournament." As the name implies, the game is based on its namesake televised poker tournament, which has aired on FOX Sports Net and NBC. The game utilizes artificial intelligence technology in creating opponents, which are incidentally modeled after some of the world's most successful poker players, including Doyle Brunson, Howard Lederer, Johnny Chan, Gus Hansen, T.J. Cloutier, Phil Ivey, Barry Greenstein and Chip Reese. Poker Superstars Invitational Tournament helps players improve their game while playing. It includes game tips as well as a player card system, which helps players keep track of their top winnings, hands and prize pots. As one of the poker pros featured on Poker Superstars Invitational Tournament, Barry Greenstein commented, "This computer game is a great simulation of the Superstars Invitational." Poker Superstars Invitational Tournament is available on Funkitron's website, www.funkitron.com.
