Mobile software developer MobileGamingNow (MGN) yesterday announced the availability of MGN Mobile Poker, the first mobile phone game built on the company's interactive, multiplayer Mobile Gaming Platform. MGN Mobile Poker offers the popular Texas Hold'em version of the game and allows six players per table. The new Texas Hold'em game was made possible through Mobile Gaming Platform, which MGN acquired last month.

MGN mobile poker is available in both a play-for-fun version and a play-for-money version. The play-for-fun can be downloaded for free from MGN's website, and the play-for-money version is also available for licensing.

MGN is hoping that its new poker software will get the attention of gaming companies looking to license mobile gaming software. Worldwide, an approximate 400 million game-enabled handsets are in distribution, and MGN wants to capture this budding market.
