Texas hold'em software RealTimePokerOdds was recently released free of charge for users agreeing to add a hyperlink to the software's site on their own websites. The software helps players calculate the exact odds for Texas Hold'em hands played online, as well as helping them determine which pot odds they should look for.

RealTimePokerOdds, which is released by PokerPercent.com, previously licensed its software for $47, but after reportedly having trouble selling its product, they decided to change direction.

Like other online gambling related products, RealTimePokerOdds has reportedly felt the brunt of Google Adwords' content policy. The policy refuses to advertise sites which it perceives as increasing traffic for online gambling websites. After allegedly being shut-out of Google Adwords, RealTimePokerOdds began to consider alternative advertising methods.

In an effort to expand their product's visibility, RealTimePokerOdds has agreed to license their software for free to individuals willing to post a RealTimePokerOdds hyperlink on their website or blog. This approach creates a symbiotic relationship between webmasters and RealTimePokerOdds, with both parties benefiting from the arrangement; webmasters get free software, while RealTimePokerOdds gains higher exposure.
