Online poker site "World Poker Exchange" recently announced that is will stream portions of its first annual World Intercollegiate Poker Championship via broadband entertainment site IFILM.com. The final championship, held in Cancun, Mexico between March 12th and the 14th, had its final table taped by IFILM.com.

The World Intercollegiate Poker Championship invited participants from 120 of the U.S.'s top colleges to compete for the title of the best collegiate poker player in the country through its combined online/land-based tournament.

IFILM.com was chosen to air the competition, since a substantial portion of its audience base of 5 million visitors-a-month is comprised of college students. IFILM.com will produce short segments of The Poker Championship, which will include footage of the tournament's final table, plus player interviews by MTV celebrity Trishelle and a look at Cancun's spring break activities.
