Online gaming software company CryptoLogic recently announced its 2004 year end and fourth quarter results, reporting significant gains particularly for its poker and casino software. The burgeoning success of online poker has been cited as a catalyst promoting CryptoLogic's success.

The fourth quarter of 2004 saw a rise in online poker fees of over 165% in comparison to the same quarter in the previous year. Additionally, online poker revenue constituted 20% of CryptoLogic's total revenue in Q4 2004.

CryptoLogic's poker software powers on of the five highest earning online poker rooms on the web. Given its continual growth of the online poker market, CryptoLogic plans to continue increasing its investment into online poker software.
