WPT Boot Camp Builds its Ranks

World Poker Tour is assembling a staff of instructors for its upcoming boot camp, with WPT commentators Mike Sexton and Vincent Van Patten, in addition to Alex "The Insider" Outhred, the show's executive producer, as the first inductees. WPT has assured that these three will make a unique contribution to the WPT Boot Camp, as they each possess an insider's glimpse into the workings of the World Poker Tour.

Not only will Sexton, Van Patten and Outhred offer instruction for WPT Boot Camp, but they will also be involved in selecting additional instructors.

Before beginning his career with WPT, Sexton was a European poker champion and winner of the prestigious World Series of Poker Bracelet. Sexton is also the creator of two major poker events, the Tournament of Champions and the PartyPoker.com Million. He is also featured as a columnist for Card Player Magazine and Gambling Times, as well as contributing to Gaming Today, Casino Online magazine and Casino Times.

Van Patten has 30 years of poker playing under his belt, and has earned himself the nickname "King of the Hollywood Home Games." He has also competed in the World Series of Poker. His inside and skill have been solicited by celebrity poker players including Mekhi Phifer, William Shatner, Michelle Clunie, David Sutcliffe, Bob Eubanks, Chuck Woolery, and Billy Burke.

WPT Book Camp will make hold two-day sessions in cities across the US. The curriculum will lectures, hands-on practice and tips from poker pros. Registration has been limited to 50 students per session
